First Time Clients
Here is what you need to do:
We ask all our clients to fill in our Income Tax Organizer Booklet.
We have created the booklet to be as user friendly as possible, and at the same time ask all the necessary questions. By filling out the organizer, it will save us time in preparing your tax return and make sure that we have all the information. This saves you time and money when we prepare the tax return.
The book is available as a download on by clicking on the button to the left labeled "Tax Organizer."
To access the booklet, you will need you will need your username and password.
Usernames and passwords can be obtained by calling our office 937-832-0271.
There is a one-time charge of $5.00 for the booklet if downloaded from the webpage, or by mail for $10.00, for your first year as our client. After your initial purchase, the booklet is provided at no charge as long as you remain our client. Have the username and password available when you do the next step.
After clicking on the "Tax Organizer" button, scroll down the page to the table which shows all the booklets available. The booklet you need will be listed there. Click on the 2011 version of the booklet that matches your situation, and a window will open asking for your user name and password. Type in your information and the booklet will open as a .pdf document, and it will allow you to print it.
After downloading and printing the booklet, go through it carefully, and fill in all pages that apply to you. You may not have information for every page, but there will be a page for all your information. Then mail the booklet, any supporting documents requested in the booklet and a complete copy of your 2010 tax return(s) as filed, to us. We will prepare your return and then contact you for payment information, and to inform you of the results.
The costs for us to prepare your entire return are based on the number of forms needed, and the complexity and time required. Therefore, costs are different for each individual. Here aresome general averages. The average cost of preparing a personal return, including 1 home based business ranges from $150 - $195. Your costs may be higher or lower depending on your situation and which state you live in. See our pricing page for more information.
The usual turnaround time to complete your return is 10-14 days after we receive it, if we have all the information we need. In order to assure that your return is completed by April 17, 2012, your information MUST be in our office by March 26, 2012.
Clients wishing to come to our office: be sure to bring all the information as shown above. Please call early for appointments, as office appointments fill up quickly.
